PickMe Real-Time Messaging

PickMe is a instant messaging & conferencing web app implemented using Firebase on the backen and React on the frontend. It¡¯s built on Bookstrap4.

PickMe uses firebase as a real-time database to store conversations and files/voice messages sent, the goal of that is to make the use of our app very easy to all kind of users, you are not required to have any private server or installation of Ubuntu LTS, you can run everything just using a firebase account.

PickMe Requirements

PickMe can work on any machine that supports Node v12. Also you will need to have a firebase account because PickMe uses firebase essencially as a backend, don¡¯t worry we are covering all the installation process (we made video records so you can follow the instructions easily) from creating the firebase account to hosting and publishing the app successfully

You may not be able to access to these accounts if they are already opened. That¡¯s why it¡¯s prefered to create a new account for testing, for security reasons : opening an account on two different machines or browsers is not allowed. But we provide demo login credentials :
